Ingrid Griselde Tauran lahir di Kota Ambon tahun 1973. Ibu dari 1 putri dan 3 putra. Menamatkan pendidikan SD, SMP dan SMA di Kota Ambon. Pernah mengikuti pendidikan pada Universitas Pattimura Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Jurusan Bahasa Inggris namun tidak sampai tamat.
