applied for 2 shift gigs, and last night (after midnight) they showed up in applied for. Why did they disappear without any notifications that I wasn't offered or apparently even considered for!?? I'm struggling to maintain housing and am willing to drive all over town to pick up shifts doing anything. NOT A HELPFUL APP AT ALL! Along with the fact your browse options don't work at all they show zero jobs. But 2-3 jobs are listed above the browse option. No response at all from support!

The app isn't very good at updating its location. It takes DAYS for it to recognize that you're in a new location. It's very frustrating. I also wish I could browse jobs in every city without physically having to be in that location. I travel a lot and I'd like to see what jobs are available first before I travel all the way to a different city.

Awful experience!!! Stay away if you have severe weather or an emergency and can't make it they do not care or have any kind of understanding and to reinstate you have to submit form you have to print and send by certified mail? And then might get denied! Also jobs you apply for don't let you know until right before the shift starts if you hear anything at all! There are several other apps for gig work out there. Instawork absolutely one of the best! Shiftsmart too!

Very easy to navigate and get started working if looking for something immediately. The company they sent me to was very easy and pleasant to work for they trained very well and even though it was fast paced they made sure that you knew what you need to know to get the job done and done right. Will definitely work with this app again and will recommend to anyone I know looking for a job with the quickness. Thanks gig smart for this great and very well pleasant opportunity to be able to lanshifts

The app's solid, but runs a little slow - it takes too long to go through your offer backlog, send a message, or do anything, really (I've clicked to start my gig clock, but paused my time by mistake). I'd also consider posting the gig address before accepting a hire offer; getting there, especially if you're hired an hour before the gig starts, is tough if you don't have a car/Uber. Having people show up to a gig they weren't hired for isn't good, but I'm sure that can be mitigated.

This app has definitely improved after lots of frustrated feedback I've sent from its early days. Now it wants to drain my battery with activity monitoring and keeping location background service running on my phone, rendering it once again useless. No, it doesn't need to run constantly in the background, especially while at work and unable to charge to compensate for greedy background apps. So I will again uninstall this app in favor of less resource-thirsty ones until it becomes useable again.
