About this app

It is our main objective to deepen ICT usage and awareness in Ghana through effective training. Recently, in line with our main objective, a localized E-learning platform has been launched to provide effective access to digital skills and knowledge training to as many Ghanaians as possible. The main reason behind the introduction of the localized E-learning platform is to enable Ghanaians who can’t visit our premises due to distance and busy business schedules to be able to access the live online training from any part of the country. And also recorded lessons, assignments and other useful resources will be available online at student’s login area for their access and review anytime at their convenience.

There are many E-learning platforms out there providing training on the various digital skill-sets but what makes this platform unique is that, focus has been placed on the Ghanaian citizens through the use of a widely spoken local language in Ghana (Twi) and English as the language of instruction. The decision to use the local language as the language of instruction was made when we realized that most of our on-premises students grasped the ICT concepts being explained to them better when the local language was used. We therefore decided to bind this approach of teaching to our newly launched e-learning platform to provide freedom in learning or improving digital skills for many Ghanaians, irrespective of their fluency in the English language. The platform was launched in September, 2017 for testing and alterations and we plan on going live with our first lesson by 1st November 2017.

With our e-learning platform, Ghanaians can gain some basic skills in the use of the Windows Operating System which is the most widely used OS in Ghana. They can also gain some digital skills like the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Software Development (Web, Android, IOS etc.), E-Commerce, Digital Marketing and many more to better their businesses, job prospects and career in general.
