MobilePASS+ is a simple strong authentication solution that combines the security of proven two-factor strong authentication with the convenience, simplicity, and ease of use of one-time password (OTPs) generated on smartphones and tablets. By turning a mobile phone into a two-factor authentication device, organizations save significantly on hardware and deployment costs, while users benefit by not having to carry an additional hardware token around with them. MobilePASS+ features single-tap push authentication for select applications. When accessing a protected resource, an out of band notification is sent to the user’s device with relevant information. The user can simply tap on the notification, review the information and acknowledge the login request.
