About this app

Take control of your warehouse with the Exact Online Inventory Management app and ensure your stock is always up-to-date and deliveries are done in in full and without mistakes. This app works on phones, tablets and professional Android scanners

The Exact Online Inventory Management app is part of the Exact Online Wholesale Distribution and Exact Online Manufacturing subscriptions.

With the Exact Inventory Management app you can:

Scan barcodes
The barcode scanner uses a built-in camera on your phone, or the dedicated scanner of a professional Android handheld scanner.

Stock counts
The Exact Online Inventory Management app encourages regular stock counts, increasing the accuracy of your stock and preventing unexpected shortages. Make a correction immediately or select a planned stock count of a series of articles through your smart phone, and register deviations in real-time due to defects, expiration dates, or missing quantities.

Goods receipt
Skip administrative handling of goods receipts. Select a purchase order on your mobile device or smartphone and check and receive items in your warehouse on a receipt location or alternative bulk- or picking location. Optionally take a photo and link the delivery note to the receipt as a reference.

Order picking
Order picking is easy through the Exact Online Inventory Management app. The app clearly displays the orders to be delivered. After you select an order, you are guided to the correct location in the warehouse. Once there, you can scan the product and confirm the quantity. All this is recorded in Exact Online in real-time and used during the delivery of the order. Multiple employees can pick orders simultaneously.

Warehouse transfers*
Move items from one warehouse to another via the warehouse transfer menu on your mobile device. Simply select the “from” warehouse, the item and the quantity you want to move. Then select the “to” warehouse and do a transfer.

Planned returns*
Receive accepted sales returns into your warehouse by selecting a return and one or multiple items from a sales order and put them on a preferred storage location via your mobile device.

Assembly orders*
Create assembly orders from Exact Online and use the inventory management app to register the issue of parts and receipt of the end product.

Put-away**
To make sure items are directly visible in Exact Online before they are put away at their destination location, a receipt (or ground) location can be used. Items located at a receipt location can later be stored at their standard picking location or bulk location via a put-away function.



Location transfers**
Move items from one storage location to another via the Location transfer menu on your mobile device. Simply select the “from” location, the item and the quantity you want to move. Then select the “to” location and do a transfer.

Planned location transfers**
Plan for items to be transferred from one location to another, e.g. to replenish stock at a picking location from a bulk location via your mobile device.

Multi-order picking***
Pick multiple orders in one go. By picking in batches of multiple orders you can save a lot of time. Especially orders with a limited number of items or smaller items apply for this method.
Take a trolley with multiple bins and fill these for multiple orders while walking through the warehouse only once. After picking you simply scan each bin individually for shipping.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
