Why did we create the Epic Contact App?
We believe in feeling appreciated. When we try to reach friends and family, and find that we can't reach them because of bad contact data, it makes us feel unwanted and unloved. Why didn't they contact us to tell us of the changes they made? We discovered that, most of the time, this breakdown in communication is just due to simple errors. So we created this app to automate the update process to ensure that the people we care about - know we care.

How does it work?
We believe in simplicity. We built the Epic Contact App as an easy-to-use, fully-automated system, that links your smartphone to your friends', family's, co-workers, and customers' phones in a very secure way. The Epic Contact App allows you to instantly update any single contact, or all of them as a group, with any changes to your contact data you choose to make - and does it with just the click of a button. Similarly, it gives your contacts access to only their own contact data in your phone to keep you current with any changes they choose to make. This system allows each of us to take back control of our own contact data!

*** Please note: this app only grants you access to your own contact data in your circle's phones. It does not give you access to any other data or area in their phones, nor does it grant any of your contacts access to any other data in your phone other than their own contact data.

What does this app do?
If you change your contact data in your profile within the app, all of your contacts are simply and instantly updated with those changes. And there's even a system that works quietly should you forget to update your contacts with the app. You can simply send an email as you usually would, and the moment one of your contacts changes your data in their phone, the system catches that change and emails a "Request for update" to you. Simply make your changes directly into that email and click enter. Instantly, all of your contacts are update with that change (patent pending)!

And you even get to choose how much or how little, and what kind of contact data you want to share with different people. You can choose "Social Data" for friends and acquaintances, "Business Data" for Networking, or "Full Data" for close friends and family (patent pending).

And, best of all, we figured if we're all going to have control of our own contact data, why not add, share, and display more information within our own contact accounts in our contacts phones? Why not add personal or professional branding data? Why not add coupons, sales specials, website links, limited time offers, and make them all visible when and where our contacts are thinking about us - right in their contact database when they want to contact us - and all in a non-intrusive way (patent pending)?

Have you ever lost or broken your phone? Or had Apple or Google merge your contacts with a family another member's? Well, when you join Epic, we upload your contacts to your own password protected cloud account to 1. Gives you access to your data from anywhere, whether you have your phone with you or not. And, 2. To give you a simple system that you can use to effortlessly repopulate a new phone should a problem occur ($4.99 per use).

And lastly, the Epic Contact App gives you a new way to simply "click to share" your contact data. The app employes a simple QR code reader that allows you to scan a new friend's Contact Data right off their phone. The system works by your friend choosing the type of data to share (Social, Work, or All), then clicks a link to reveal a QR code for that data. Simply scan that code off their phone, and boom! You're linked!
