Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing EO Smart Home on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Useless piece of garbage... App is extremely useless, charger also. I've set the charging period from the app to be the off peak tariff from Octopus Go, and at first time the charging worked perfectly, but at the end of the cycle, despite the fact that the charging was stopped, the charger relay was not switched off, and the second time I tried to charge my car, the charger did not work.

Minimal features. Hard to work out how to enter normal tariff or set timings properly. (Slightly better in iOS version) Cannot update tariff for completed chargings or export data. Schedule of future releases would give some confidence the developer is working to make things better.

An embarrassment. Genuinely this poorest android app Ive ever installed. Very basic functionality and UI which fails to give you basic information like accurate charging logs or the ability to set notifications. Settings that you do make don't save. Invalidates what is a good EV charger. Please overhaul this ASAP or allow a 3rd party app to be used.

Unfit for purpose The app doesn't always display the correct info and scheduled charging simply doesn't work however you go about it. So much for using cheap night rate electricity. The latest app update has made no difference.

Renault kangoo ze33 not exist in the app :) And car is 5 year on the market !Statistics are not remembered so you cannot check how much energy and time you have charged monthly, weekly etc.it will be handy if u are self employed and want to deduct costs .Quite poor design and functions. Needs development feels like it was done by beginners.

Terrible app, kids would do a better job. Grossly behind all others in the same space - bitty, flaky and the scheduling simply doesn't work - shame on EO, invest a meagre amount . . .
