Works fine and simple. It would be nice to be able to pay with EMC also using a previous NS record from the Emercoin DNS records in the Blockchain as a proof of ownership, replacing the PayPal email of the buyer.

About this app

Emernotar.io is a service for notarizing files using blockchain technology.

You add your file, and the app calculates a hashsum (checksum). It then casts it to the blockchain when the payment is complete.

Why blockchain? It“s permanent, public data storage. Nobody can delete or alter it.

Using this technology, our web and mobile application can ensure four unique features:

The integrity of your files, by keeping checksums on the blockchain. If any bit of your initial information is changed, it will be visible.

Timestamp - You can prove that you were the first owner of the document, photo or video, using the date when the checksum was published on the blockchain as solid proof.

Identification - You can also demonstrate your authorship. Your identity is verified by your paypal payment. To prove your authorship, you can cast your email publicly or just add a hashsum (checksum) of your email.

Verification - You or anyone who has the file can add it again. The app will show whether or not it has ever been notarized on the service and will show the author’s email or hashsum (checksum).
