About this app

‘Colors for Beauty’ is a external/public use mobile application which is a digitized version of ‘Color Card’ tool for Cosmetics. It's going to give closest impression to real-life cosmetic pigments.
It is really a tool to give the real impression of colors & pigments to the customer instead of physical copies of Color Card incur a substantial cost, as color chips needs to be produced.

Rendering technology is not well enough developed to build pictures from a data source that are good enough to provide optical information on different effect pigments. The differences between pigments are small but obvious for the human eye. One of the decisive factors, texture has to be generated manually as there is no physical value existing for it at the moment. On the contrary it makes us dependent on the skills of a single person or cooperation partner and raises costs.

The application should be a small step for PM Surface Solutions to the Digital World.

A Mobile application would be beneficial for customers who do not have the required service level to get printed version/samples such as designers and brand owners.

1. User Registration
‘Registration Page’ will allow the user to register into the application by providing the necessary fields like Family Name, Surname, Company, Company email & Password to login and access the full functionality of the application.

2. User Login
“User Login” page allow the user to login into the application. When the user opens the application, he will not be allowed to use full functionality of the application. To use this user, need to go through login process. Login page takes email id and user name and password (includes 8 length special and alpha numeric character).

3. Forgot Password
“Forgot Password” will allow the user to reset their password by providing registered mail ID in the Forgot Password page.

4. Landing Page
As user install the application and open, user will be directed to the Landing page. Landing page contains three chapters i.e Color Mix, Rainbow, Portfolio.

4.1. Trend Collection (Color Mix)
Trends is nothing but Color Mix, which is divided into two section as “Classic and Trendy”. Each section will have subsequent colors with the filters like Girly, Glow, Mattes, Fancy etc.

4.2 Rainbow
Rainbow page will be the second chapter in the application. To access this user must have go through login process.

5. Menu Page
Menu Page provide the short cut to the user where you can access the application functionality at same page. User can swipe up from the bottom of the page to access the menu page functionality.

6. Advance Filter
Advance filter option will be available on “Pigment Portfolio” Page. Clicking on the filter page user can be able to perform filter on brand and color along with particle size (sanity effect, shimmering effect and sparkling effect).

7. Favorites Page
Favorites page contains all of the user favorites from the application. Favorites option will be available to user in Menu bar. On click of the same, user will redirect to the Favorites page there He/she can see the list of favorite colors/pigments/blends.

New features

Session time out: If a user doesn't access the application continuously for 5 days, user will be logged out.

App Permissions

Marker permission for applications that wish to access notification policy.
Must be required by an NotificationListenerService, to ensure that only the system can bind to it.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to know what content is playing and control its playback.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
