It takes three to 4 times when trying to save the photo on journey. I take a photo but it won't save till the fourth time or till l reboot the device

Can anyone recommend an android device that this app will run on? I have a Motorola G4 Play and the lag times unfortunately make the app unusable. I have used it successfully on ios and keen to use on android.
