About this app

Want to test your English Grammar skills and improve basics? GrammarQuick is your solution.

GrammarQuick is a project based on the concept of recreational learning through smartphones where a user can simply sign up and start reading his desired book. One major part of the project is to involve users to study a topic from the book and then let him take MCQ Quiz on the topic to justify his progress on acquired concepts immediately. In this manner, users can not only get a practical way to learn but also it makes him more focused and interested on reading the book.

GrammarQuick for Android works with users that exist in the database of the app. If the user does not have an account, he must open a book reading account first. Then after logging in, he will be able to access his desired book from the book library. Once he chooses the book, the first chapter will automatically appear on the screen from which he will have controls to change the chapter, check his result or go back at any stage. The Navigation Panel and Menu bar are designed in that way so that the user can interact with the app environment while reading through chapters. At the end of each chapter, a Quiz sheet will pop-up consisting a few Multiple-Choice Questions and a Scorecard. The user will have to answer accordingly and as he answers correct or wrong, his scorecard will automatically update. If the user wishes to go back and repeat the reading process of the previous chapter, he can go back at any stage. Or, he can skip answering the questions of the present chapter and go to the next chapter and continue reading. This process will be repeated until the end of the book is reached covering all the chapters. The user can skip any chapter at a time and check his Final Scorecard which contains the individual scorecard marks from the Menu bar. As soon as the final scorecard is displayed, he can exit from the book reader and go back to the main menu.

The uniqueness of this app is that every user will have his own scorecard and result card. In that way, every user gets to develop his skills on his desired book by reading through the materials of the book with proper care and consciousness. Not only that, this project being a recreational book reading application persuades the user to solve MCQs of every Quiz driven by his own curiosity. It’s a new way to spread digital education over the Internet.
