Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Module Dispatcher on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Cotton gins can dispatch module truck drivers to pick up cotton modules in the field.

See a map of the module location. Navigate directly to the module. Verify the module via barcode or RFID scanning. Initiate the weigh-in process back at the gin directly from the app.

*** IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS (read before purchasing):

*** You must be using the eCotton Gin System in the gin office in order to use this app, and you must have a WiFi router or access point that is visible from the weighbridge.

*** You (the gin) must be subscribed to CottonHost (an eCotton service) in order for you to send or receive any module data.

We recommend a 7 inch tablet, used in landscape orientation.
