This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DTE Insight on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Used for DTE Energy customers to pair an Energy Bridge to their DTE Smart Meter. This is a Subscription based service for the Energy Bridge Real Time monitoring and free device is ordered on sign up. Features Real Time tracking of energy usage in Watts, review historical data to target energy usage. App provides goals an warnings to track and stay within an energy budget. I highly recommend for anyone interested in monitoring their energy usage, as this requires no home modifications. Simply PnP

Why doesn't the Android version of the Insight App display colored peak, mid-peak, and off-peak time periods on the periphery of the circular time-history graph?

When I compare previous periods, I want to see ACTUAL usage/charges. No one is interested in ESTIMATES after actual usages and charges are posted. Please start showing ACTUAL usages and charges for previous billing periods. Please stop showing ESTIMATES for previous billing periods. UPDATE : Jan 2025 - app is now losing daily usage for anything older than three days. So buggy, the DEV team obviously has no QA, no accountability, no standards, and no shame...
