Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SecureTourist on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

With this app you can assess the level of security present at your hotel based on a set of questions developed by internationally experienced hotel security specialists. The app lets you conduct a gap analysis of what is expected for a secure hotel, and to obtain a score for your hotel.

If you own or operate multiple hotels, you can use this app to check that all your hotels are secured at an appropriate level, and compare the different properties to each other to identify those that may require security improvements.

The app allows you to produce a basic report, and identify problems in security including the use of photographs to assist in the assessment.

Note that this is a basic tool to assess the level of security in the hotel, it is not intended to be used as an advisory tool for security requirements. The model used is global and the legal requirements and/or hotels policies may vary from location to location.
