This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Valid ID on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. ValidId, powered by CrimShield, puts the power of verifying Contractor ID badges right in the palm of your hand. Whether working in your home or office, a ValidId of a CrimShield QR Code will let you:


1. Verify the validity of the card and confirm that the contractor, technician volunteer or any other cardholder is authorized to be there;
2. Verify that their current annual background check was satisfactorily completed;
3. Verify that a drug test was taken and successfully passed;
4. Verify that the individual had a valid drivers license at the time the card was issued.


ValidId also confirms the individuals identity, ensuring the person presenting the ID is the correct person. Although ValidId and CrimShield cards can be scanned by any QR Code Scanner, this ValidId QR Scanner has been tested and is supported by CrimShield on all devices.
