About this app

The traditional process of carrying printed program guide at the conference is not a pleasant experience for attendees in the Mobile age, when everything is possible by touch of a button. Here comes ConfCaddie, the mobile app that replaces the printed program guides. It displays the conference program details and many more features at the touch of an icon.

Attendees will register for the conference at the organizer’s website. This attendee information along with the conference content will be uploaded by the organizers to the ConfCaddie data server. The app will display the conference data to the users from the data server.

Features:

Schedule and Agenda: Conferences could be a one or a multiple day event with a set of Agenda for each day. Through this feature the user user can view agenda for each day of the conference.

Keynote and Presentations: This feature provides the Keynote and Presentation information of the conference along with the presentation abstract and the speaker’s bio data.

Event Notifications/Alerts: Attendees are spread over the conference area. Important notifications do not reach all the attendees. This app provides an Alert feature to send the notification messages to the attendees on time.

Survey: Majority of the event organizers and presenters likes to get feedback/survey from the attendees at the event. This app provides a way to submit the feedback/survey about the event by the attendees.

Attendees list: At many conferences the organizers share the attendees contact information with the fellow attendees for networking purpose, after getting the proper approval from the attendees. This app provides a feature to see the list of attendees who are attending the conference.

Check-In (Admin only): A check-in process is a must on the day of the conference to know who have actually attended the conference. Some conferences need to track attendees for each presentation. This app provides a feature to do the check-in process easily through a QR code scanner. The scanner scans the QR code from the registration confirmation email and also from the attendees name badge. The scanned information will be provided to the event organizers.

Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
