I am a DGA with Colonial Life. Prior to using this app If I wanted to confirm whether a business was already a client I had to call Home Office or my Territory Executive Team. What if was after hours or the weekend when nobody is available? Now, I have this app on my phones, laptop and iPad. I can confirm if any account is Colonial covered and if one of my agency's accounts is close by! CLA shows you details of your accounts and even navigates you to the account. All of my managers are required to download this app. It is crazy not to utilize this resource.

Not sure what it was before, but the app I downloaded does nothing. It displays a Google map, but none of my accounts. Doesn't show any nearby businesses. Doesn't do anything. Oh wait, it places a blue dot where I am standing! Although I didn't know what to expect, I was definitely not expecting this...totally let down.

Colonial life never does anything half. I expect Colonial has put their best effort into this app. This should help us agents manage our book and gain more ground with new business. The end result will be to cover and help as many lives as we possibly can. Thank you Colonial Life!

About this app

The Colonial Life Agents app allows contracted Colonial Life sales agents to view their existing accounts relative to a given location. You can view account details, contact or schedule a meeting with someone on the account, or navigate to the account’s location. You can also utilize various filtering capabilities to keep your list of accounts focused to your daily agenda. For managers, you can now see accounts by office or for a member of your team, which allows you to easily drill down into their account data.

Now for the very first time, users will be able to search for the name or address of a business to determine if it is an existing Colonial Life account. As you are making sales calls, this feature will give you the ability to quickly lookup whether a prospect is already an account to help avoid making unnecessary calls.

Key features include:
• Account dashboard that allows a quicker overview of your accounts with easier access to see just a particular type of account (i.e. only active, or only direct accounts)
• Pinpoint and map locations of your accounts within a radius of up to 150 miles
• Find more accounts by searching for other locations outside of your current location
• View valuable statistics and information about those accounts
• Call, email, or schedule a meeting with the plan administrator, sales contact, opener, or broker
• Filter accounts based on the following:
- Account Status: Active or Inactive
- Account Relationship: Opener, Sales Contact, or Managed (managers only)
- Broker Relationship: Brokers or Direct
- Only past due accounts
• New manager view, giving managers the ability to drill down through your team to select a specific office or person and view their accounts
• Prospecting support with the ability to search for the name or address of any business to determine if it is an existing Colonial Life account
• Login using Fingerprint access

Note: In order to use Colonial Life Agents, you must have an active contract as a sales agent or manager with Colonial Life.
