This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Digitus Recorder on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. App is very slow! Especially if you watch playback. To watch 1 sec of playback it takes about 19 secs to load it. Does not matter if WLAN or 4G. Imagine if you want to watch 1 min of playback... Unfortunately, that makes the app useless! Device: Samsung S7 / Android 7.0

Digitus Recorder is the application that allows you to access DIGITUS Video Recorders including DIGITUS AHD DVR and DIGITUS Plug&View NVR for Live-view and Playback. The setup of the recorder via APP is simple with QR code scan. No more complicated network setting is required.
