Installed this just to suggest you test it on a well-made pdf file that isn't just pictures, isn't a picture with a bad ocr level like you get with many Android pdf scanners, and isn't DRM encumbered. There are other complexities his filter may not cover either - he's likely just repurposing the pdf to text converting library he uses in his indexer, but don't judge it unless you've tested it on a pdf file known to contain proper text rather than an image + who knows what.
