This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Sitios de Historia Mapuche on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

La tensión entre memoria e historia no puede resolverse anulando la una a la otra, sino poniendo en discusión las perspectivas que se tiene del pasado. Este proyecto al situar la perspectiva espacial, al situar los hechos más allá del eje temporal, involucra revisitar temporalmente el lugar de los hechos, o sea colocar en términos contextuales el hito histórico, que desde esa perspectiva puede constituir Patrimonio Material.

“PATRIMONIO Y TERRITORIO. CATALOGACIÓN MULTIMEDIA, HISTORIA MAPUCHE Y SUS LOCALIZACIONES”, es un proyecto de investigación y difusión de resultados, financiado por el Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio, a través del FONDART Regional Araucanía, en la línea de Patrimonio Cultural, modalidad de Investigación.

El proyecto consistió en la identificación de localizaciones espaciales específicas, preferentemente en la Región de La Araucanía (8 localizaciones), en la Región Del Bio Bio (1 localización) y en la Región de Los Rios (1 localización), en las cuales se desarrollaron situaciones históricas relevantes para el Pueblo Mapuche, entre los siglos XVIII y XX.

Entendemos que el sistematizar esta información y hacerla visible en soportes mediales de acceso amplio, contribuirá al reconocimiento y al valor diferenciado que a la historia mapuche le cabe en la sociedad chilena global.

También pretendemos que este trabajo genere precedentes para una eventual consideración de sitios o espacios patrimoniales, así como el valorar el audiovisual y los formatos multimediales en la difusión de este tipo de conocimiento. Es decir, a través de este trabajo proponemos la reconstrucción de un aspecto básico de la memoria histórica, cual es la identificación del espacio y el tiempo en que los hechos ocurren para visibilizar y constituir patrimonio mapuche.

Ponemos a disposición de toda la comunidad y personas interesadas en esta temática, especialmente a estudiantes y profesores, para hacer uso de este material y contribuir al conocimiento del Pueblo mapuche.
