This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DP Solution on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

DP Solution application allows users to prepare a DP FMEA Annual trials program following IMCA guidance and execute them on-board. The tool will allow to:
• Speed up pre-trial preparation:
o By creating the vessel one time (with data automatically fetched from Neptune).
o By creating a library of test sheets per vessel, that are reusable each year and can be shared for similar vessels.
• Allow a more efficient on-board trial process:
o The application can be used offline on-board the vessel using a Tablet.
o Guidance can be provided by to help executing the trials on-board
• Speed up the post trials finalization process:
o The end of trials & provisional letters that must be left on-board are automatically generated.
o The on-board trials results are automatically included into the report.
• Secure the document review & approval process
• Have a version of the trials results available to the main office as soon as the on board tests are done.
The flexibility of the tool will support the network to develop the DP FMEA Annual Trials, more specifically with the guidance provided for the trials on-board, and the process will ensure the consistency and quality of the reports.
