Audiobook functions are terrible. Most importantly, it does not save progress reliably. There are few rewind/fast forward options, and the app will crash randomly or start playing the audiobook randomly while paused. Book options each month are great, but I use the app for audiobooks.

The audiobook rollout, which I was very excited for, is a major failure on multiple levels. In terms of the app, the audiobook player doesn't reliably save progress — which is a pretty basic function — and is clunky to use (not easy to fast-forward or rewind, especially after your spot in the book has been lost for the millionth time). I would not recommend using the app for anything other than managing membership and selecting physical books until they fix this.

App just stopped working, I'm not sure what happened but one day it just gave me "Oops! Looks like something went wrong" whenever I try to view my wish list or the month's selection. I can access the list of books already in my library but that's about it. The website works, which i can continue to use i suppose, but the app was just so much more convenient. I have cleared cache, cleared data, uninstalled/installed the app and even hanged my PW. App till doesn't work. Edit: they fixed it :)

The audiobook feature is trash. When I'm listening to an audiobook and I pause it and a notification comes through it automatically starts itself again. When I put my phone on do not disturb so this does not happen the app randomly stops the audiobook on its own and completely closes the app about every 10 mins. The app also does not keep track of where I was last listening, so I frequently have to skip forward through whole chapters at 15 second intervals just to see where I actually left off.

I like the audiobook option, but the app is horrible with audiobooks. It constantly crashes and then when you open it back up, it doesn't start back where you left off. It doesn't keep track of where you left off so you constantly have to search for your spot.

The website is great, but the app sucks I'm not able to vote for the finalists, so I deactivated the app and then uploaded it again, well now according to the app, I'm not a member when my status is BFF. I sent an email to tech support, but with no response back. You should be able to do the same on the actual site like you can on the app
