Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing bAudit on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

Benefit Software presents bAudit to facilitate the inspections of vessels. The bAudit mobile app communicates with your installation of Benefit ERP (Inspections/Audits module). The app receives checklists and templates from the ERP. When the checklists are filled and the inspection is done, a package is created which is sent to the ERP.
Data transfers go through bCloud, Benefit’s cloud server.

1. Register mobile devices and their respective user. Only registered devices can send and receive data
2. Office can send inspections templates to selected mobile users and devices directly from inside ERP
3. Disable access to registered devices in case of loss or theft
4. Oversee inspection uploads for all superintendents in a single screen at the office
5. Execute inspections onboard via the mobile app
6. Capture and attach photos to each inspection item via the mobile app
7. Upload inspection results to office straight from the app – no need to search for transfer apps
8. Option to upload via WiFi or mobile data to minimize data charges
9. Download inspection templates and checklists assigned to you straight from the office
10. Option to export completed inspection files to filesystem and send them using other apps or USB

New features

You can now capture video, record audio and attach files to each inspection item. Also, a warning message will be shown when photos are larger than usual.
