I love this app and everything it's all about! However, it is still a little buggy. I had a conversation with one friend, no problem. But when I started a new conversation with a second friend, it moved the first conversation TO the second one and deleted it from the first! I hope they fix these bugs soon. P.S. Heard of this from NDQ!!!

Fellow winged Hussar here, thanks to NDQ for telling me about this app. Everything works good so far. My first bit of feedback is that the images shared do not auto rotate when you rotate your phone to show full screen. I will post other issues if they come up.

Good app, does what it claims to do. At fist the app was not worming for people outside the US. But after leaving feedback they fixed it in a few days. The app still has some bugs, vertical photo taken on iphone is turned horizontal on android for example. But the overall experience is good. This app is mainly forcussed on security and that it seems to do quite well, so I'll give it some credit for the way it looks. But please, add a dark mode!

I think there is an issue for any user trying to register outside the US (without a US number). I was unable to use my telephone number in Taiwan. I ended up using my Google voice number to register. Registration is pretty straightforward. In the "Invite Friends" section, only a partial list of contacts appears. If you want to search for a person whose name begins with the letter "z" you have to use the search function.

Amazing idea, but Beta software. I cannot use my camera in this app. When I try, it states, "Missing camera". My thoughts... It should have a dark theme as well. Most apps feature this now and it even saves battery. If you want to be competitive with Signal, it should be fully functional before release like this. The Play store description should be more clear to the average person what the purpose is and how it's better than competitors like signal and whatsapp.

This app perfectly suits my needs as a quick, simple and intuitive messaging app with privacy at its core. LockDown serves me well in communicating sensitive information in a way that doesn't leave a digital tattoo for me to worry about aging poorly. If I want my shared thoughts gone, I count on LockDown embrace privacy the way I need it. LockDown is perfectly serviceable in it's current state 11-23-2020. I'm eagerly awaiting a dark mode so I don't have to blind myself at night.
