About this app

The Openings Studio™ App is designed to manage door openings at all stages of a building project. Available for Android and other smartphones, the Openings Studio™ App allows building facility managers and contractors to quickly document existing openings, perform compliance checks on fire, smoke, and egress openings, and complete punch outs for new construction. All information is synced to Openings Studio™ and accessible from the desktop, the mobile app, and field applied Smart Tags.

The app is available in an off-line mode, allowing users to sync information when they’re ready via cellular or Wi-Fi connection. All information is stored in the cloud, accessible anywhere for building owners, facility managers, contractors, maintenance, and service professionals.

New features

This update includes a new way to document frame measurements for single and pair frames. We’ve also added more warnings and alerts throughout the app to guide users on making the correct decisions on various screens.
