Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Aptean WorkTech on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Aptean WorkTech was designed exclusively for the customers already using the WorkTech Pearl to allow the user to record real time information in the field. Field workers can remotely create new Work Orders and close Work Orders once the work is done and see the updates in the WorkTech Pearl. With Aptean WorkTech, recording a Work Order is made much simpler with limited fields which are just enough to give sufficient information of the Work Order.

Various features of Aptean WorkTech:
- Real time Work Order recording.
- Recording a service request made simple.
- Accurate location of the WO.
- Real time pictures of the WO before the work is done and after the work is done.
- Able to work on the application even in the remote area with no network.
- Access to list of created WOs.

New features

1. Fixed an issue to set Due Date on AMSRQI record when Work Order(WO) is created.
2. Renamed the Completed field to Done in Edit WO screen.
3. Added a button to view Address on Maps in Pearl and also added Contact Number to Edit WO screen.
4. Fixed lazy loading WO List screen to display 40 records instead of 25 records.
