About this app

The Charleston Baptist Association exists to partner with the Greater Charleston
Southern Baptist Churches to fulfill God's mission for us to…
Go into Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth
proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples of all nations.

The Charleston Baptist Association was constituted by four churches on October 21, 1751. The four churches were Charles Towne Baptist Church (organized 1682 in Kittery, Maine and moved to Charleston in 1696-now First Baptist Church of Charleston), Euhaw (organized May 1746), Ashley River (May 24, 1736), and Welsh Neck on the Pee Dee (January 1738). The Charleston Baptist Association is the second oldest in the nation and the oldest Association in the South.
