This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Carprix on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Great idea. Decent UI design. However has critical flaws. For one the app only has European trim levels for my Japanese car, despite having my location set to USA/Canada. Weird. Does not allow very specific details like aftermarket parts that may affect value. But the biggest issue I have found is that you cannot search for the market value of other cars or see other cars in your area despite the app implying it is capable of doing just that!

Decent software, good idea. Terrible execution. Won't let me enter the vin completely, cuts off after 8 digits. Also won't let me change options on my car. It's forcing me to value it as a 6cyl option, but mine has the upgraded 8.

the app wont let you delete cars you dont need/want on your car list. also this app doesnt even have my car model, which is a pretty common car. 1999 ford explorer. the app only has the expedition and ranger but no explorers what the hell. 🤨

New app no way to see other cars , needs time to grow. you can only input your car info thats it, no way to search other cars or other sellers

Needs too many permissions. Why do you need access to my microphone and contact list ? Didn't even finish setup. Too invasive.

It didn't even have my model listed on the app. When I submitted my vehicle it expects others to write what they think it is worth. Not a good app
