About this app
CARHAILER is a smart app in Singapore that provides private hire car’s commuters (users) a single page pricing display of all the ride-hailing apps operating in the user’s location, thereby providing users the convenience to make the best choice for their rides in terms of pricing and waiting time.
Users are given CARHAILER reward points when they use the app which can be redeem for gifts/samples directly from our advertisers. CARHAILER allows the users to get the best value for every ride, saving money and time, and earning additional rewards and gifts on top of every saving.
CARHAILER will also benefit any foreigners and tourists; by using the app, they will be instantly updated on the various ride hailing companies available in the location.
CARHAILER is simple to use, user just need to enter the destination and search. On completion, just choose the ride-hailing app that provides the cheapest fare or shortest waiting time.
Currently it is not possible to book the ride directly through the CARHAILER interface; users will instead be directed to the ride-hailing apps on their mobile device.
For user whom like an app to help them to choose the best ride:
Step 1: Sign up & Login
1. Sign-up by tapping on the “Sign up now” link to register your name, mobile number, email and password.
2. An OTP will be generated and sent via SMS to the user to complete the sign-up process.
3. To login, enter registered phone number and password.
Step 2: Create a search
1. Once login, the user pickup location will be auto filled based on geolocation input. The user can change the pickup location if it is different from his geolocation. Enter the destination address and select the correct match from the drop-down menu and confirm. Press the search button.
2. The prices of various ride-hailing apps with the service available in the location will be displayed.
3. For ease of presentation, user can view the prices from cheapest to the highest or display base on shortest waiting time if the waiting is available from the ride-hailing apps.
Step 3: Make your booking
1. Clicked on the ride-hailing app icon of your selected fare. The respective ride-hailing app will be opened if the user has already installed their app. Otherwise, the app will direct the user to the app store to download and install the app.
Redemption:
1. Points will be awarded to the user when using the app, viewing the advertisement videos, visiting the advertisers’ websites or by clicking on the advertisement.
2. Rewards can be given directly by the advertisers or used by the user to accumulate sufficient points for future redemption.
3. To redeem a reward, user will need to check his available points and open the redemption page. On the redemption page, when users have sufficient points, available rewards will be highlighted, if not, they will be grey off.
4. Press on the respective rewards and complete the redemption.
