This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing RAC Telematics on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Don't usually have any issues with the app, it tells me my score shortly after finishing a journey, showing where I've been and where any faults have been made, if any. However, as of recently, the RAC Telematics App has stopped working and hasn't recorded any of my journeys since April 3rd. I've tried logging in and out of the app, checking for any app updates, which there were none and I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, but to no avail. I've emailed RAC in regards to this.

Just appalling, I can't emphasise how bad the whole RAC insurance experience has been. App doesn't work, can't log into the website, can't speak to anyone on the phone. Cancelled insurance after a week.

For some reason my score drops when i haven't driven for a few days. I really don't know whether to be puzzled or angry. Anyway, the app shows the journeys and what not, but the score is just abysmal and I tend to say unfair. I thought I was a bad driver but after researching, I'm glad that I found out that others have issues as well.

Recommendations that are unreasonable and may effect your premium. Basically wants you to drive like a granny being in 5th gear doing 20mph and coming to a stop at every roundabout even if completely clear. Rubbish, think twice before taking out a premium which includes an RAC black box!!!!!!!

My braking score is at 0%, has been for a few days now, which doesn't make sense, they need to update the app to fix any bugs.

At first was OK, now marking me down for breaking whilst some how my night driving is at 100 (where I see people mostly get 75 max).... Some how also after I drive home, my score goes down! Even though on the maps it says everything is perfect.... What a laggy app that knocks your score down with no reason AT ALL... It is starting to get extremely irritating!
