Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Alien RFID Demo (ALR-S350) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

The ALR-S350 is a robust, simple to use UHF passive RFID sled designed for all day intensive use. The sled's characteristics provide the flexibility to use your preferred operating system while enabling access to the latest generation in communications infrastructure without being tied to a more slowly evolving monolithic device.

Connect the ALR-S350 sled to your Android device over Bluetooth and use this application to demonstrate the sled's key functionalities including performing RFID inventories, writing to tag's memory, locating tags as well as reading 1D and 2D barcodes.
