About this app

Outpost Mobile sends an encrypted, transcoded stream to a secured Airship Server via relay, which can be viewed live via Nexus Client. Used to stream from anywhere, Outpost Mobile provides you with a secure camera everywhere you go. Footage is stored on Airship Server, and can be downloaded in high resolution.

+ Live streaming to Airship Server in H.265 (Tactical) and H.264 (Interview)
+ Compressed audio recording and streaming support with video
+ Ability to modify encoding live-stream settings: frame rate, output resolution, bitrate, optional recording, and more
+ Facial recognition capable (if added to EMS)

INTERVIEW MODE
Recording with Outpost Mobile in Interview mode will store metadata such as names, locations and descriptions relevant to the interview. Such sessions may be uploaded post-session and viewed via Video Portal’s hosted clips list.
This mode also allows live streaming to recording cases during the session and is viewable in Nexus Client, Video Portal, or Nexus Mobile.

TACTICAL MODE
Tactical mode is the classic live-streaming mode which records to a case, viewable from any client such as Nexus Client, Video Portal, or Nexus Mobile. High resolution downloads are available via Nexus Client for the duration of time selected.

FULLY FEATURED
Outpost Mobile utilizes all available cameras based on the model phone, including 30 FPS capture with all video and zoom capabilities. Dark mode turns off the front video display for inconspicuous recording, no matter which camera is selected.

CONFIGURABLE STREAMING OPTIONS
Users can set default streaming resolutions for all Outpost Mobile live streams to Nexus Client or Video Portal. An Adaptive Bitrate option monitors packet traffic coming in to Airship Server.
