Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MSO (Mobile Scada for Operators) on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

A user-targeted mobile application optimized for use by MSO (multi-skilled Operators) and field production operations personnel.

Field Operations personnel spend most of their time in the field, are most valuable in the field, and do not have convenient access to a PC client environment throughout the day. Accessing SCADA data via a PC and mobile wireless is time consuming and often avoided. For field operations personnel SCADA system use is typically limited to morning access to view and capture a snapshot of information to help prioritize activity for the rest of the day. During the remainder of the day they receive text message notifications of events that may require their attention.

The Mobile MSO app extends the usefulness of a CygNet enterprise SCADA system investment to field personnel responsible for operations and maintenance by providing rapid mobile access to SCADA information relevant to the individual operator.

- Persist URL between version updates.
- Fixed sorting on the Hierarchy Views and the Facility View.
- Fixed a bug that could cause the Facility View to nor properly collapse and expand if there were too many groupers.
