Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing IR Core Review on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

IR Core Review is a resource for Radiology Core exam preparation specifically tailored to the interventional radiology subject matter. This application is designed to prepare radiology residents, physicians, and medical students.
 
With IR Core Review, you can create custom quizzes with over 250+ questions utilizing multiple testing options including: tutor mode, test mode, review answered questions, new questions, or starred questions.
 
But that’s not everything! Once a test is created it can be saved and opened at a later date – no online access required.
 
Content will be updated periodically with additional questions and images.

New features

1. Questions now are lists that enable you to scroll up and down to see the answer choices
2. There is a question controller at the bottom of the answers that allows users to submit their answers in 'Tutor Mode' and move to the next questions in 'Test Mode'
3. Added warning if there are zero questions of a question type. Will not let you start a test.
4. Added 'Review Starred Questions' in the settings window.
5. Test names are now substituted with time stamps
