While everyone can install the trulyMEid app, the true power of the trulyMEid ecosystem comes to life through organizations issuing virtual IDs to you through the trulyMEid ecosystem. Forward thinking organizations are using trulyMEid to coalesce real-world ID cards with online services, and leveraging the benefits across all areas of business. If you received a trulyMEid code from such an organization, Welcome!

A note about geo-location tracking
The trulyMEid ecosystem includes a feature called Instant Survey. An Instant Survey broadcasts a "survey" to ID holders. Each Instant Survey includes pre-selected response options that appear as buttons in the app, making it easy for you to quickly respond. Additionally, an Instant Survey includes an option to request your geo-location at the time you respond to the Instant Survey.

Many ID issuers who utilize this feature do so in emergency type situations, where it is essential that the location be as precise as possible as quickly as possible. We've found that acquiring a GPS location "from scratch," so to speak, can take precious seconds that our customers don't want to waste. So, in order to be able to respond as quickly as possible, and be as accurate as possible, the trulyMEid app tracks geo-location ON THE PHONE ONLY while the app is running (or backgrounded). Then, when the app receives an Instant Survey WHICH SPECIFICALLY REQUESTS GEO-LOCATION, the response is geo-tagged and sent to trulyMEid's backend systems. trulyMEid DOES NOT LOG OR OTHERWISE TRACK YOUR GEO-LOCATION OUTSIDE OF THE INSTANT SURVEY PROCESS.

As always, you as the user can turn on/off geo-location via the phone's settings. If you turn off geo-location, you will still receive Instant Surveys. However, your responses will not include your geo-location.
