This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Biblio on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

This app would be way more enjoyable if it had a few key features: 1. Dark/night mode. Right now it is a white screen. It controls the screen brightness & is way too bright for before-bed use. 2. Stop the screen from sleeping according to normal user settings. Now I have to remember to wake the screen up every 30 seconds or so before it goes black OR remember to change my sleep settings and then change them back. 3. % or min left in book/chapter (a la the Kindle app)

Useless search function and impossible to get a good view of the complete content. The app basically presents a pile of books not sorted in any way and ask that you browse through it aimlessly. Who even makes apps this bad anymore??

It would benefit to be able to return books this giving you the possibility to listen to new books. Easy to use.

Audiobooks always start over from the beginning each time instead of saving the last session, not sure if it's a bug or lack of a basic feature but it's too cumbersome to use the application at this time.

Biblio is the library app where you can borrow, read and listen to your favorite literature, both streamed and off-line. Explore among top lists, categories or search your favorites.

Off-line
If you want to save surf or have a bad cell coverage, you can download the books you want to read or listen to. The books are then stored on your device and you can listen to them on the train or on the flight without interruption.

Biblio, the extension of your library.
Biblio makes it possible to access your library's book catalog. If you do not find the book that you would like to read or listen to, please contact your library and they will help you find what you are looking for.

There may be limits as to how many books you can borrow. If you have questions about how many books you can borrow, please contact your library and they will inform you about which rules they have.

Logins are managed by your library. If you have problems logging in, please contact your library.

Most libraries are connected to Biblio (Sweden, Finland) some may be a part of a portal and that name will show in the login list. If you do not find the library you are looking for, please contact your library.
