About this app

The myRNU app is designed to provide members of the Registered Nurses’ Union Newfoundland & Labrador with access to its myRNU member website. Using the myRNU app, registered nurses can access exclusive resources, a calendar of events, important updates and news, and search through the RNUNL Collective Agreement.

The Agreement section allows registered nurses to easily access and look up information in their collective agreement from anywhere. Registered nurses can browse through the entire list of articles contained within the agreement. If a member is looking for a specific article, they can either search by article number or search by keyword(s). Additionally, the app also displays the page number for each article so that specific articles can be referenced in PDF and printed versions of the agreement.

The Resource section is home to a variety of documents that registered nurses can view and download. Registered nurses can access things like forms, volunteer information, and professional practice tools.

Registered nurses can use the Planner to help organize their work and personal life by keeping track of shifts, and personal events or appointments. The Planner features an interactive calendar used for displaying monthly events. By default, registered nurses can see all upcoming events, but the events for a single day can be viewed by simply tapping on that date on the calendar.

Allowing notifications is a great way to receive instant updates. To take full advantage of the app, registered nurses are recommended to allow notifications. This will allow you to see the latest posts, news and other updates such as bargaining or education notices that are sent out through the app.
