Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TAG II on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

TAG II allows you to turn an Android phone in to a GPS tracker, and allows you to track the activities of your family, friends, staff and mobile workforce using the TRACKnTAG tracking platform.

TAG II has been released by TRACKnTAG (a trading entity of FLEETLOGIC Co., Limited). It is the updated version of our original app ‘TRACKnTAG’, which offers better battery management and extended features.

The app has been designed to work with the TRACKnTAG tracking platform https://track.trackntag.co/ and the TRACK II mobile app that can be found on Google Play and the App Store, as well as Wialon https://hosting.wialon.com/ with all commands, alarms and sensors being fully supported.

The app works in the same manner as a GPS Tracker, including:

1. Track by time, distance & veer in both moving and stopped modes.
2. Sleep & Deep Sleep options for battery savings

It also allows for 20 Work Status Tags to be set up, so your workforce can advise you of changes in activities.

The app requires a QR Code for its settings, so please contact sales@fleetlogic.co for your personalised QR code to be generated by our team free of charge.

We offer this as a free app for all users of the TRACKnTAG & Wialon tracking platforms and offer a white paper version for other companies that want to use it with their own tracking platforms.

Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
