CabCalc - The Cabbie Calculator

What is CabCalc?

CabCalc has been designed by cab drivers for cab drivers, so it works as you work.

It saves you time and money if you simply record your fares and your expenditures as and when required and once you've done that - we do the rest.

How it works:
All you have to do is:
1) To record the time you start on duty and the mileage of your cab at the time
2) Record the fares taken and expenses made during your shift
3) any breaks you take during the shift
4) what time you finish your shift and the mileage at the end of that shift.

What it does:
This data allows CabCalc to calculate all of the statistics useful to you.
Such as: average hours worked, mileage done, cost per mile, revenues per hour, etc.

CabCalc then generates a series of reports and charts to clearly breakdown all revenues, expenses, mileage and hours so you've got an easily understood overview of your operations.

Important: Privacy:
We know, as we're cab drivers - that you want this information to be between you and no-one - fact!

All data is stored on your phone, the App does not require any internet connection and nothing is stored on servers or in the cloud. All data entered is personal and only accessible by yourself on your phone. An export feature allows you to export the data in a CSV format to your home computer so you can use the data in any accounting program, if required.

Important: Security
Furthermore, we've designed it so you can download the data. So, the App will prompt you to secure access with your own secret PIN number. This will make sure that even if your phone is lost or stolen, nobody can access the data in your CabCalc. And you wouldn't loose everything - you could re-upload it to a new phone.

A complete package - Past, Present & Future:
You can start using CabCalc at anytime to record your fares and expenses, however, if you would like to record previous fares and expenses, you can press on the black "Date" bar at the top of the keypad to change the date and time if required.

If you have made a mistake, press on "Edit/Delete entries" button at the bottom of the App to change an entry or remove it.

CabCalc - in your Language, with your currency.

CabCalb is available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German.


The app will automatically take your phone/tablet settings for language and currency as you have defined on your phone (which may also depend on your GPS) as the default - If you want to change the currency, that can be changed in your phone preferences.

Cost:
CabCalc is free to use, however, if you would like to use the chart and export feature after the initial 30 days, then you will need to subscribe to the App. Subscription cost only £0.99 a month and can be stopped at any time.
