The Hotel Panic button application for Avante's Hotel Panic Button System is a mobile application designed to separate the server connected computer away from the receiving server. This would allow for any hotel worker who has an Android-based mobile phone to receive alerts from any point within the hotel. With this system workers would have constant monitoring that would always be there to protect them. Additionally, this application has a way to catalog previous alerts in case of later need to prove that an alert was sent. This creates a system that can be accountable to an outside source in the case of an investigation into the causes of a situation that needed to use the panic button system. Lastly, the Hotel Panic Button uses a real-time location system after the button is pressed. Therefore, a worker can be on the move trying to get away from a dangerous situation while being tracked to give security the most up to date location for the distressed worker.
