Every year, thousands of students will have to face the college admission process. In addition to those students, people everywhere are constantly applying for internships and jobs. With each of these applications, the applicant will need a strong profile to ensure their success. Currently, many students stress over their future college and employment; students worry that their resume may not be strong enough for a desired position or school. On the other hand, students often do not know how to find the opportunities for them to build a stronger profile and succeed. Regarding the application process itself, some students do not have an organized way to keep track of their past grades & accomplishments. Mobile Profile erases these worries and uses innovative ways to help address the issue of students’ job, internship, and college application processes. Our app first addresses the issue by providing resources and links to contest, scholarship, and internship opportunities for students. This is our first feature, the Resources page. In order for students to maintain an organized resume, the app categorizes achievements and hours into four main groups that a resume usually has. This next app function is the My Information page, where one can view their profile in four main groups of categorization: Education, Experiences, Achievements, and Skills and Interests. First, the education page will allow students to easily upload pictures of their past report cards and keep track of other academic scores. Next, the Experiences page will have three subpages; Clubs and Organizations, Volunteer Services, and Work Experience. Each of these subpages will allow students to organize achievements in each respective category. The achievements page will enable students to keep track of their past awards, distinctions, and also upload pictures of certificates as proof. The last page part of the My Information function is the Skills and Interests page. Here, students can insert what their special skills and hobbies. Mobile Profile’s final app function is a goal-setting function, where one can keep track of both the long-term and short-term goals they wish to accomplish in the future. With Mobile Profile, students everywhere applying for colleges and jobs can now easily strengthen their profile, organize past achievements, and set goals for their journey to success.
