About this app

‘TENSION MASTER’ an application released by Bando Chemical Industries, Ltd., is used to calculate tension of power transmission belts.

This application is designed to be used in conjunction with ‘TENSION MASTER’, a device designed to measure tension, which is sold separately.

This application can be used to calculate frequency of vibrations by measuring tension and vice versa.

Installed belt tension can be obtained by inputting the frequency of vibrations as measured by ‘TENSION MASTER’ into this application.

By inputting data such as a type of belt, belt span length, and target tension, this application indicates target frequency of vibrations of belts.

In case of measuring tension for other manufacture’s belts, input type of belt, unit weight, belt span length, and target tension manually. The measuring formula is written based on the characteristics of BANDO belts - therefore the result could be inaccurate when using TENSION MASTER to measure other manufacture’s belts.

Calculation results could be inaccurate in cases where a measurement device other than TENSION MASTER is used. This application makes an adjustment for the weight of the TENSION MASTER sensor.
