About this app

Introduction
SellMyWiFi allows anyone with a smartphone to instantly create a Wi-Fi hotspot and sell your own Wi-Fi bundles or vouchers. This app is perfect for small coffee shops, street vendors, taxi drivers, spaza shops or anyone that comes into contact with customers needing low-cost data access in small easy to consume bundles.

Installing SellMyWiFi
SellMyWiFi requires a rooted phone. We recommend using a simple rooting app like KingRoot (www.kingroot.net). Once you have rooted your phone you are ready to install SellMyWiFi.

Using SellMyWiFi
We recommend buying a data bundle before selling data using the app. This will allow you to maximize the value that you can provide your customers.

When you are ready to sell data, switch on the Wi-Fi hotspot using the Portable WiFi hotspot button in the application. We recommend keeping the hotspot open (i.e. no password) to allow your customers to connect easily and also since the application will only allow connecting devices access to the Internet once you have given them a data bundle.

When a customer attaches to your Wi-Fi hotspot you will recieve a notification and you will see the connected device in the application. You will also notice that the device is labelled as "Out of Limit". Clicking on the device will open a window that will allow you to assign a data bundle to your customer. Once you have assigned the data bundle the customer will be able to access the internet on his handset/tablet. Once your customer has used up the data bundle that you assigned to him, his internet access will stop until you assign him with another data bundle.

If your customer does not fully consume his data bundle then the next time he attaches to your hotspot he will be able to use the rest of his data bundle.
