Song: Don't You Just Love To Read?
This silly educational song shows the adventures of a group of young kids as they discover how reading can be a whole lot of fun and lead to some exciting discoveries. This song was created and sung by Dr. Jean Feldman. Dr. Jean's educational career has spanned more than 40 years. She has served as a classroom teacher, instructor of adults, author, and consultant. She has a B.A. from the University of Georgia, a D.A.S.T. from Emory University, and both M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Georgia State University.
Dr. Feldman inspires teachers across the country with her engaging songs and creative activities that help make teaching and learning FUN!

Lesson: Learning to Read
In this interactive lesson Lily and Scooter show you how to read a book. Scooter also demonstrates how learning to read can help you understand the world around you.

Lesson: Learning Words
Join Buddy and Jo as they show you how to sound out words. Learning to read new words is a lot easier if you learn how to sound out the word and break big words up into smaller sound pieces.

Activity: Learn the Words
Have fun exploring words and their letter sounds! Learn over 60 words in this activity as you tap the words to hear them read aloud or drag your finger over each letter to hear the individual letter sounds. Many of the words include images to help the child understand what the word means. The list of words comes from the Dolch word list of high-frequency sight words for Kindergarten.

At the end of the activity there is an exciting game show speed round that tests the child's ability to read the words. They are asked to match the correct spelling of a word based off the sound of the word and a picture. There are three levels of words they can unlock by beating the Speed Round games.

Game: Build a Story
In this activity the children will get to use their creativity to build their own story. The story is fully illustrated with colorful pictures that the kids will love. The text is highlighted as the story is read page by page so kids can easily follow along. On each page there are three options for how the story should go. After one of the options is selected the story branches off on a different path. There are over 300 different story paths! They can create a story about a cat pirate that searches for bird monsters with his family, a worm cop looking for a lost dog, a pig cook making a special pie for a princess and much more.
