The apps update has messed everything up with it ending up absolutely useless..worked a few month ago on my childs samsung tab A 2019 before update... and now it wont work after the update. What an absolute shambles... in a pandemic where kids have missed 5 months of education.. you would have thought the app makers should have had at least one brain cell.. it should have been kept as it was.

Poor. Would not accept login details. Debug information said it was due to app out of date. Updated it, so it wiped all user info. Stuck until we can contact the school.

App was originally ok but very disappointed with the update that renders it useless on any android device less than 3 years old. Most kids don't own a brand new ipad therefore the new version is useless unless parents can afford one. It says you can access via a browser instead, but when attempted it says it cant do that on a tablet either. Don't see why they couldnt keep the old version accessibke for a couple of years. Way to increase the education-poverty gap guys!

Poor compatibility with Android products needing to be frequently restarted. Algorithms for the sight words section appears to be the Achilles heel and unfortunately lacks understanding of modern strategies to help children succeed. Forcing a child to simply repeat the spelling of a word over and over and over each time they make an error is punitive - a little like keeping a child in at break to finish work. If they don't learn it the third time they will not learn it by rote after the 100th time either. If it was not for Lexia being Hobson's choice offered by the school I, would not persevere teaching my child strategies to progress. There are much better fun apps that don't make children feel punished for trying to learn to read and spell.

This doesn't work ... yes can download and install but that's it. As everyone says it can not be used. You can not enter login details and even can not use it in google browser. App needs updating as my newer android version can not run app as apparently I need older android system. During this pandemic the company should ensure this is fully compatible with all. I know times are hard and all need to be safe but a source of learning for most schools should be available to all children.

• sparking higher-order thinking

Based on pupils’ performance in the app, Lexia’s patented Assessment Without Testing® technology provides teachers and administrators real-time progress monitoring data—without stopping instruction to give a test—saving up to a month of instructional time by
• identifying pupil risk levels
• predicting future performance

• providing real-time data and action plans

Within the first month of use, teachers will know each pupil's probability of meeting end-of-year benchmark, and will receive the recommended resources and intensity of instruction necessary to improve the learning trajectory for at-risk pupils.
