The Operation and Agriculture Supply Information System (OASIS) Mobile Edition enables the farmer to collect data required to meet industry certification and government regulation. Field observations regarding plant growth, soil health, and weather changes can be recorded in accurate detail on a mobile tablet or a smart phone. Standardised reports covering crop protection and other farming activities can be downloaded and stored in the mobile device. A product label associated with each product variety planted on a specific farm field can be downloaded and printed for use on packaged boxes or bags, so that the crop harvest can be tracked once it leaves the farm and is delivered to its final destination. This Android mobile app allows the farmer to enter new records and view existing records whilst working in the field when an Internet connection may not exist. The Mobile Edition stores a copy of data records in the mobile device. When Internet is available, the farmer can back-up their farming and environmental data for secured protection.
