Can you make auto fire an option?

Took a while to realise it was auto-fire. Trying out the different weapons - haven't used claymore or grenade yet. EDIT (One useful addition might be mummy noises, maybe a quiet grrr, - it's really hard to work out if they're right behind you). OK tried out all the weapons - claymore is very useful + grenades help out a bit.★★★★★
