It's essentially a survival game in an arcade 2d spaceship simulator with threeway faction warfare and a lot of reviews I've seen so far fail to recognize the survival part all together. Very reminiscent of classic Dark Orbit before it was ruined by unending upgrade grinds. The additional polish is noticable most in the economy section. Biggest issue is the lack of a built in translator for chat since it's literally a global sandbox everyone plays in as far as I can tell.

I enjoy this game for its nostalgic dark orbit feel. All the subtle differences are refreshing and feel more balanced. the game can be tough for solo new players though some kind of reduced damage buff for power disparity would be interesting to help survivability a little more after the existing debuff for level difference is finished. gradually increasing the percentage of damage taken based off the power difference between pilots would help players adjust to the now ever present threat of pvp

It's the only playable well maintained server/game for a game known as Dark orbit historically. The biggest issue is that the development team are incredibly slow at implementing new features to give the game depth, DO had too much depth making it a pay to win mess, but WarUniverse has far too little depth making it a blob fest, most the time players can reach gates before you can kill the from ambushes, LF4 helps but it needs more. Also nearly unplayable on Mobile, Mobile is for farming afk

A bug is sometimes it won't replenish my health after being idle for awhile. A minor bug is it will say I have 1 laser boost left in my resources tab. Please change the way loot is given, right now it's the first person to damage. It should be split evenly amongst all attackers. It would be nice if we could @ people in chat and they would be notified via the chat icon.

When I saw this was silent death remade I almost cried, no joke..... I've missed silent death so much. played it when I was a kid, and now me and Jr get to play it while he's the same age I was. That game started my love of MMOs and I've checked every couple years for it being remade by blizzard (since they bought it) but never found it or anything near it....... untill now.

It's fun at the first few levels and then gets really boring and repetitive. Everything is made so expensive and unreachable so you will need to be weeks playing the same all day to just get some progress. Or you can pay with real money for progress. It is cheaper to buy a Nintendo Switch and Some Mario games than to get everything in the game. Just not worth it.
