About this app

The Go See SA App is a fun way for residents and tourists alike to connect with San Antonio’s array of fun, cultural, and historical sites. This will encourage locals to rediscover their city as well as help guide visitors to attractions they might otherwise overlook.

Explore Sites:
Visit sites to discover the unique art, culture and history of San Antonio. Players will explore and check in at sites by visiting landmarks and notable locations around town such as The Alamo, The Witte Museum, Breckenridge Park and more. These sites range from cultural arts and family fun to historical and educational.

Take a Tour:
Take curated tours based on your interests to experience all the city has to offer. Tours are area- or topic-specific curated collections of sites. Each tour has 3, 6, or 9 sites. Once a player checks in at each of the tour sites, they will earn a virtual tour medal.

Collect Medals:
Earn virtual medals by visiting sites or completing tours and show off your Fiesta spirit! Medals are in-app virtual badges that are earned by checking in at sites and completing tours. Players will need to answer trivia questions at each location in order to earn the medal. Some sites are sponsored—players who check-in at these sites, or complete a sponsored tour, can receive digital coupons or discounts. The more medals earned, the more festive the sash!

Play with Friends:
Invite your friends to join the fun and see where you rank in the leader board.
