As a demo, it functions, but not great. that's not the problem with the engine, but the controls being too small and in the wrong place. It works well on a large tablet, but on my Google Pixel 3XL it's frustrating and barely useable. I highly suggest you rework the demo with bigger buttons and simplify what can be done. Take a look at "Dan the Man" for an example. I have a license for this engine and know how awesome it is. But other developers might think it's flawed based on this one demo.

Needs some work. Even for a tech demo. It's missing functionality on some levels, which reflects poorly on the engine. A button doesn't work for some interactions. The inventory level requires you to type "I", on a mobile device. Still gives a good idea of the mechanics of the engine.

Sadly, it's not a very good demo for the Corgi Engine. On some levels there are missing features (level about weapons where you can't use a weapon!?) and UI scaling is not perfect.

For those complaining about controls... This app is a tech demo. A starting point. You can customize the controls to your liking within Unity. Corgi has saved me MANY hours of development time.

The buttons for gameplay are too small on my S9

About this app

The Corgi Engine is a very fast, non-physics based controller for your player. It's mobile friendly, works well with other assets, and is basically everything you need to start creating your own 2D game right now.

Get more information about the asset over at http://www.moremountains.com/corgi-engine-best-unity-2d-platformer

Note that this demo makes use of some of Unity's standard effects (blur, bloom, etc) and that can affect performance. This is not linked to the engine's performance, but rather depends on your device and how well it handles Unity effects. You can of course turn off these purely cosmetic effects when you create your own game.
